So I just published my mix for the Weekly Mix Challenge. The challenge? To craft a mix around any verb that strikes your fancy. I picked “blaspheme” as my verb and ended up with a mix that really tickles me. It’s kinda all over the place from a style or genre point of view but I think that the theme of the tunes ties it together beautifully.

My latest mix on 8tracks (http://8tracks.com), “Wake Up, Dammit!” (http://8tracks.com/djsizzly/wake-up-dammit) is all about kick starting your week in the best possible way – positively. I wanted to go for some really high energy tunes, stuff I like to listen to. Overall I think this list is a win.

Last week I posted a mix to 8Tracks that was generated by MediaMonkey’s Last.fm DJ script and my music collection. I frequently let my music collection run wild when I’m working on other stuff and every so often it creates something wonderful like the Devil Leads to Murder mix. I’m going to spend the next couple of kilobytes talking about why this list is cool but really it’s about the music.
